About Riverbend Dog Care

Our Story

Riverbend Dog Care was founded with the idea that pets deserve to be treated with love and respect. We started as a small pet sitting business and have stayed small on purpose: it allows us to provide excellent care.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Please reach us at riverbenddogcare@gmail.com or by phone at 301-915-6658 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

    You can make a reservation by texting or calling us at Riverbend Dog Care: 301-915-6658. We will schedule a Meet-and-Greet, then make a reservation after that.

    • $35 per night per dog, payable by cash, check, or Zelle. Cash discount is available.

    • $15 charge for after-hours drop-off or pick-up.

    • $5 - $10 charge per day for medications, depending on the way it is administered

    Weekdays:

    3:30 pm - 7:30 pm

    Saturdays and non-school days:

    9:00 am - 7:30 pm

    Sundays:

    1:30 pm - 7:30 pm

        *After-hours drop-off and pick-up times ($15 charge): 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

    • Vaccination records from your vet, if you haven't already emailed it.

    • Proof of flea/tick medication, if you haven't already emailed it.

    • Please bring your pet's food in a reclosable, labeled container.

    • Any medications.

    • Any special toys to make them feel at home.

    • No need to bring a dog bed, but if you have a clean one you can bring it.

    We genuinely love dogs and look forward to spending time with our guests. Dogs who stay here are made to feel at home. They can go in and out as they wish, enjoying the large fenced back yard, and we pet them and play with them all day. We don't have more than two guests at a time (there may on rare occasions be some overlap) so that dogs can relax and feel comfortable.
